The quick-drying ink 802 can be used only in connection with rubber die plates because the ink contains solvents which would destroy text plates made of polymer. The drying time depends on the particular surface and varies from a few seconds to max. 120 seconds (ca.) on photo paper. The ink can be used for self inking pads as well as for hand stamp pads, provided that they are felt pads. (Felt pads are available at COLOP for nearly all stamp sizes). Standard foam pads are not suitable for this kind of ink! Examples of use: ABS, metal, coloured paper, CD’s, cellophane, celluloid, diskettes, cans, enamels, coated and non-coated labels, tickets, boxes, bottom of tiles, backside of photos, driving licenses, glanced paper, glass, cardboards, packaging materials, catalogues, ceramics, plastics, circuit boards, micro chips, PU-Polyurethane, PVC, adhesive tapes for packaging, paper, passports, Plexiglas, ply wood, stamp wood, coats, polystyrene, tracing paper, tubes, video tapes, bricks, etc. The ink is not suitable for plastics like PE and PP.
